Sports Axiom rates players from official match results insideSports Axiom events. Three owned concepts carry the whole system:
- Sports Axiom Level (NCL) — the underlying match-derived rating a player holds.
- Match Level — the public half-point display band, such as 3.5, 4.0, or 4.5, that other players and organizers see.
- Confidence Score — how settled the rating currently is, shown as a player-facing confidence bucket.
In this section
- How it works — what moves a rating and what never does.
- Singles vs doubles — why the two are rated separately.
- Confidence and Match Level bands — provisional ratings, confidence buckets, and display bands.
- Score corrections — what happens to ratings when a score changes after the fact.
- External ratings — recording a rating you hold outside Sports Axiom.
