Round-robin plus playoff combines the fairness of everyone playing a full schedule with the excitement of a knockout finish. The division first completes a round-robin stage; the organizer then activates the playoff when configured, and the configured top finishers advance into a bracket.
Advancement and seeding
The organizer configures how many players or pairs advance. Published round-robin standings provide the starting field and seed order. Before publication, the organizer can record a decline or unavailability, choose an eligible replacement, and review the seeds, pairings, times, and courts. Those working notes stay private. The public event page changes only after the organizer explicitly publishes the reviewed bracket.
Playoff matches
Bracket matches are single elimination. A valid score entered by either side becomes official immediately. A player who believes it is wrong asks the organizer for an audited correction before the affected bracket line advances further.
Sports Axiom events follow the standard rules of tennis unless the organizer publishes event-specific modifications on the event page. The International Tennis Federation is the rules authority for the sport itself; Sports Axiom links there rather than reproducing rulebook text.
